The UAE government in Dubai has launched the new domain name for its official portal.
With this UAE became the first country to design a government portal with a single alphabet.
“U”will be the UAE government portal while the ae will be UAE’s country code Top Level Domain. i.e. “u.ae.”
The portal will provide details related to government work such as services, stances and laws.
The new portal was developed in co-operation with Prime Minister’s Office and the Telecommunications Regulatory Authority (TRA)
According to TRA Director General Hamad Obaid AL Mansoori, this is the continuation of our country’s achievement in the field of digital development . The adoption of the new domain name comes is just a stage of the digital transformation as we enter the Fourth Industrial Revolution, the smart city and the government of Artificial Intelligence.
UAE has always cares of its people the most and the use of the letter “u” clearly shows it.
As he further added how the letter “u” is aimed for the people with this heart-warming message by the government, “you are the goal, you are the government, you are United Arab Emirates.
