Is Dark Horse stolen????
Rapper Flame has a court case against Perry and her “Dark Horse” collaborators.
The rapper Flame who is also known as Marcus Gray, and his colleagues claimed that Perry and her team stole the beat from his 2008 Christian song “Joyful Noise” and used it as her underlying beat in her 2013 hit “dark Horse.”
Katy Perry also sang her song in court to prove it was hers originally but the most obvious distinction between the two songs are the timing. In “Dark Horse” the beat is played much slower compared to “Joyful Noise”.
Guess, now it’s up to the Judge to give his verdict on Friday whether Perry is guilty for plagiarism or its purely a coincidence.
