DINOSAUR SKELETON TO BE AUCTIONED OFF IN DUBAI.

The Diplodocus longus aka Dubai Dino is 155-million-year-old dinosaur skeleton that dominates an atrium in Dubai Mall is going on auction and this will be the first of its kind according to Emirates auction.

The Dubai Dino which has called Dubai Mall it's home for the last 5 years is 24.4 meters long (about the length of 5 cars) and 7.6 meters in high.

Discovered in 2008 at the Dana Quarry in north-central Wyoming, nearly 90 percent of the fossil bones are original. The dinosaur had it's tail bones injured when it was alive – presumably due to a predator’s bite or from trauma resulting from an exerted tail force during a battle with another dinosaur.
